With support for Zigbee, Thread, and Matter, it integrates seamlessly with leading smart ecosystems like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home. When paired with an Aqara Hub, you unlock additional features such as remote HVAC control and expanded automations.

Equipped with three customisable smart buttons, each supporting single, double, and long-press actions, the W100 offers up to nine personalised automations – making it easy to adjust your home’s comfort or activate scenes with a single touch.

  • Dual-Protocol with Matter Compatibility: The Climate Sensor W100 supports both Matter over Thread¹ and Zigbee², making it future-proof and highly adaptable. Matter ensures seamless integration with leading smart ecosystems such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home, creating a more unified smart home experience. With Zigbee and an Aqara Hub, you can unlock exclusive Aqara Home features. If needed, you can also switch³ between protocols based on your preference.
  • 3 Customisable Smart Buttons: Equipped with three programmable buttons, the W100 supports single, double, and long presses, giving you up to nine automations or scene configurations⁴. From turning devices on and off to instantly activating a comfort mode, these buttons provide effortless control over your smart home environment.
  • External Sensor Integration: The W100 includes a high-precision sensor with an accuracy of ±0.2 °C for temperature and ±2% RH for humidity. Its 3.4-inch LCD screen displays real-time environmental data clearly, helping you enhance home comfort, maintain storage conditions, manage greenhouses, or provide a healthier space for sensitive groups.
  • HVAC Remote Control Integration: When paired with an Aqara Hub, the W100 can be connected to an Aqara thermostat⁷ or even control third-party IR air conditioners via the Aqara Hub M3. This enables wireless control of temperature, humidity, modes, and more, directly from the device. By automating climate adjustments, it enhances comfort and saves energy – all without needing to touch the HVAC unit.
  • Long Battery Life with Configurable Performance: Powered by two CR2450 batteries, the Climate Sensor W100 offers up to 2.4 years of battery life in Zigbee mode and 2.3 years in Thread mode⁸ with regular use. Through the Aqara Home app (Zigbee mode), you can adjust the sensor’s sampling and reporting frequency⁹ to balance performance and power efficiency. This ensures reliable, long-lasting operation with minimal maintenance.
